“Mirror macOS arrangement” mode. When enabled Displace arranges your macOS displays when you make changes in your active profile. If disabled, the displays are always arranged in zigzag because Displace controls the cursor transitions between them. This introduced feature is useful for those who want to make drag selections across multiple displays. It works best on Default mode and when displays aren’t resized, with reduced support on Pin the Dock.
Improvements
Canvas resizing: hold Shift to keep a display’s aspect ratio while resizing, and hold Command to temporarily turn off snapping. Also fixed a case where growing a display against a neighbor could shrink it instead.

Devices Displace can’t fully control in Default mode no longer leave the cursor stuck on one display. Displace now switches that device to Compatibility mode automatically so the cursor keeps moving between your displays.
Displace now detects and repairs its background helper when it gets stuck after an app update, so the feature that restores your displays while Displace isn’t running keeps working without you having to open the app.
Pin the Dock now works when your Dock is on the left or right, not just the bottom.
Switching profiles now rearranges your displays to match that profile’s canvas layout right away, instead of waiting until the next time a display is plugged in or out.
Displace now follows the name macOS reports for a display, so renaming a display (for example a virtual display) shows up in Displace instead of the old name. A name you set inside Displace still takes priority and is kept. Clear the name to go back to the default.
Improved trackpad interaction in Default mode. Now when coming from a resting position the cursor doesn’t move accidentally when tapping.
Changing your main display in Displace now keeps your windows in the same exact place instead of being shuffled onto the new main display by macOS.

Displace Pro adds Default mode with per-display cursor speed, Game Mode, Portals, Border Resistance, ignoring displays, and unlimited profiles.
If you already own Displace v1 you keep every Pro feature on Displace v2.

Activating Pro is now just pasting your (permanent) license key instead of using a temporary code. If you lose it, you can have a new key re-sent to your purchase email right from the app.

Compatibility mode
Improved support for hot corners, making all of them reachable now. Though in some of them the cursor may go back to the center of the screen, which is a limitation of Compatibility mode.

Profiles can now set a display’s resolution and refresh rate. Pick a resolution for a display in a profile, and Displace applies it while that profile is active and restores your previous one when you switch profiles, pause, or quit, so a built-in or external panel can run differently per setup without changing your macOS defaults

Linking two monitors that Displace previously refused to link now works after a short confirmation that explains what will change; only genuinely unsafe combinations are still blocked, and they now tell you why.
Note: Linking is a feature that you can find in the settings menu, it’s useful in some cases when one monitor is detected as being 2 different displays depending on how you connect it; some monitors have that quirk.
The border resistance setting is reworded to clearly name the gesture it resists, so that it’s more clear.
Renamed the “Next Monitor” shortcut to “Cursor Jump”.
